It operates 18 wholesale nutrient facilities, 3 pelletized products facilities and 13 farm centers in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Florida, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Puerto Rico.

The wholesale locations formulate, store and distribute about 2 million tons of dry and liquid agricultural nutrients. Value-added formulated products are also blended to customer specifications. All of the liquid fertilizer operations are ISO certified.

The Farm Centers offer an extensive menu of products and services that are vital to successful crop production. Soil is tested and global satellite services provide for pinpointing crop or soil deficiencies. Yield monitoring, custom nutrient design and pest programs are also available.

Based on customer demand for improved limestone and gypsum products, the granulation facilities were introduced in the early 1980's to create pelletized products. The Andersons, Inc. Plant Nutrient Group acquired Mineral Processing and its Carey, Ohio facility in 2008. Combined with the Seymour, Indiana facility, The Andersons became the leader in the pelletized limestone and gypsum business in both the agricultural and turf markets nationwide.
